Public Hearing Notice – NJDEP Green Acres Program Proposed Acquisition of 155 Main Street

The City of Hackensack will hold a public hearing to discuss and receive public comments on its proposed application to the NJDEP Green Acres Program to acquire the property at 155 Main Street (Block 303, Lot 19) for use as a new public pocket park.

Location: City Hall, 65 Central Avenue, Hackensack, NJ

How to Participate

The public is encouraged to attend and provide feedback on the proposed acquisition and plans for the future pocket park. Public comments will be accepted both during the hearing and in writing beforehand.

The City of Hackensack is exploring the acquisition of 155 Main Street to create a new public pocket park in the heart of downtown. As part of our application to the NJDEP Green Acres Program, we are seeking community input on how this potential new open space should be designed and used.
