Right now, Hackensack has 2,788 households relying on SNAP, and with the upcoming SNAP lapse, the need for food assistance will only continue to grow. Join us in supporting our community by donating essential items to help families through this critical time.

Drop-Off Locations:

  • Hackensack City Hall – 65 Central Avenue (Main Lobby)
  • Mount Olive Baptist Church – 260 Central Avenue
  • Hackensack Recreation Center – 116 Holt Street
  • Hackensack Public Schools – All Schools (donation boxes in each location)
  • Johnson Public Library – 274 Main Street
  • Center for Food Action – 316 First Street (Open Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
  • Fire Stations (Exterior Drop Boxes):
    • 199 Hudson Street
    • 107 So. Summit Avenue
    • 784 Main Street
