Pursuant to the Senator Byron M. Baer Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., please take notice that a Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Hackensack will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 5:00 P.M. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 65 Central Avenue, Hackensack NJ 07601. The purpose of this Special Meeting is to hold a public hearing on an amendment to the 2026 Municipal Budget and consider the following resolutions:
xxx1. Resolution Calling for an Executive Session
2. Resolution Authorizing the Adoption of the 2026 Municipal Budget Note: The Public Hearing on the amendment to the 2026 Municipal Budget will take place after the Executive Session.
The public portion of the meeting is anticipated to resume at or around 6:30pm. The Amendment can be viewed here and on the Municipal Website.
Copies of the amendment are available in the City Clerk’s Office at 65 Central Ave., 3rd Floor, Hackensack, NJ, 07601 during the office hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30PM.
