“The Hackensack Condo, Co-Op & Multi Unit Rental Buildings Advisory Board was created with the express intent to create a Board which represents Multi dwelling owners of condominiums and cooperative units as well as tenants of multi dwelling rental units. The purpose of this chapter is to generate discussion on issues such as traffic, parking, emergency services and other quality of life issues which may be pertinent to dwellers of multifamily units.”

The Board does this by assessing and evaluating, on an ongoing basis, programs and services provided by the City which impact uniquely and substantially upon multi dwelling residents. It makes recommendations to the
Mayor, Council and City Manager for improvement of existing programs and services wherever reasonable and appropriate.

The Board prepares and submits Advisory Reports to the Council and City Clerk and performs other tasks when requested by the Mayor and Council concerning City services, programs and policies.

The Board advocates for diverse quality of life initiatives while promoting relevant knowledge to its constituents.
