I was born and raised in Hackensack and attended Hackensack High School, graduating in 1983. Upon graduation, I enlisted into the United States Marine Corp. where I served for 4 years earning an Honorable Discharge in September of 1987. In November of 1987, I was hired by the City of Hackensack as a full time Police Officer. I began my career in the patrol division serving the citizens of Hackensack. In 1997, I was reassigned to the traffic division where I became a motor officer, a radar instructor, and an accident reconstruction specialist. In 2016, I was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and was reassigned to the patrol division where I supervised officers under my command until my retirement in December of 2021. During my 34-year career I received numerous awards and commendations for valor, meritorious service, lifesaving, and numerous letters from citizens that I helped along the way. I like music, good food and spending time with my family. I dislike ignorant and rude people
