The Arrest of Tyler Dondershine

The Hackensack Police Department announces the arrest of Tyler Dondershine of Hackensack NJ on the charge of criminal sexual contact. The arrest is a result of an investigation conducted by Det. Robert Ghirardi and Det. Sgt. Frank Tripodi of the Hackensack Police Detective Bureau. On January 25, 2024, Hackensack Police Officers responded to Atlantic Street between Union Street and Railroad Avenue on a report of a female who was groped by an unknown male who had fled the scene. The Detective Bureau conducted a follow-up investigation. As a result of their investigation, on Friday, January 26, 2024, TYLER DONDERSHINE was arrested without incident and charged with fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, N.J.S.A. 2C:14-3b. DONDERSHINE was processed and released on a complaint summons pending his first appearance at Central Judicial Processing court in Hackensack, NJ. This charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
