Petitions are available for the Hackensack Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025

There are five open seats for City Council available.  Beginning Monday, January 6, 2025, petitions may be picked up at the Hackensack City Clerk’s Office, 3rd Floor, 65 Central Avenue, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

The last day to file petitions of nomination and acceptance is on or before Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 4:00 P.M. prevailing time.

Due to new State Legislation the number of signatures needed on petitions has been revised for the May Election.  Please contact the Clerk’s Office for assistance and information.
