Main Street Revitalization Continues With New Residential Developments, Restaurants and Shops Now Open

Main Street is continuing to experience a thrilling wave of new investment that is revitalizing the area into a vibrant hub of activity, thanks in large part to successful economic development policies put into place by Mayor John Labrosse, Deputy Mayor Kathleen Canestrino, and the City Council. New businesses are sprouting up, bringing fresh energy and innovative offerings to the community including Stimulatte Coffee, MOB Pizza and Burgers, Aura Restaurant and Bar, Hackensack Ice Cream and Coffee Shop and much more.

Meanwhile, new residential developments are bringing thousands of new residents to Main Street and generating over $4 million in new tax revenue this year alone. Redevelopment revenue is expected to continue increasing each year, allowing for further investment in the community’s infrastructure and services. Concurrently, the city’s new Affordable Housing Overlay Zones are ensuring that new developments along the Main Street corridor are built with at least 10% affordable housing.

Main Street is now on an undeniable upward trajectory of growth, ensuring a prosperous and dynamic future for the entire City of Hackensack.
