The City of Hackensack is hiring Class II Special Police Officers. Applicants must be certified SLEO II officers, New Jersey residents with a valid driver’s license, at least 18, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates must also pass background, medical, psychological, and drug screenings. Starting pay is $30 per hour, with court assignments on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
