Outdoor Dining with a Heat Source

Any kind of heat source would require the tent/canopy to be rated and certified flame retardant. The less expensive canopies usually are not rated. A fire extinguisher would have to be accessible nearby and if propane, the heater and/or spare tanks can not be within 5 feet of an exit. Tanks need to be secured to prevent tipping over.  If you choose to have a heat source of any kind you must contact the Fire Department at 201-646-7685 for the proper inspection.

FAA Flight Path Update

TANAAC's initiative to move the flight path into Teterboro's runway 19 from flying over residential/HUMC to follow route 17 was well on its way to approval/use by end of March 2020.

The City has been informed of another 6 month delay because the NJ State Historic Preservation Office (NJSHPO) is requiring a more exhaustive evaluation of historic sites than what was done during their environmental evaluation.

This evaluation they are requesting may require the FAA to physically drive to each site, which will be further delayed by the current requirements for non-essential business.  The City is requesting clarification on such requirements to hopefully get this initiative back on track.
