11/12/2013 - Philippines Relief
The Summit Church is opening up a special Philippines Relief Fund to help families on the ground who's lives have been devastated by the recent natural catastrophes in the Philippines. We assure you that all money received will be sent directly to local churches The Summit works with, reaching families in the affected areas without deductions for overhead.

If you can help, visit the church website at www.thesummitnj.org. and click on the E-Give link. All gifts are tax deductible and your information secure. If you prefer, checks can be mailed to the church directly at:

The Summit Church
720 Summit Avenue
Hackensack, NJ 07601

Please note Philippines Relief in the memo area. If you have any questions, the church office number is 201-343-0075.

The Summit's Senior Pastor, Bill von Husen has visited and served a network of churches and people 9 times in the area particularly hit over the last 15 years. He points out that in the last few days we have seen the horrific pictures of Tacloban on our televisions. Tacloban is the provincial capital of the island of Leyte located on the eastern side of the island where Typhoon Haiyan first made landfall. However, because the storm destroyed roads and communication lines inland, we have not yet seen what has happened on the western side of Leyte.

Thank you in advance for all assistance.
