ADULT DEPARTMENT

GALLERY: "A CELEBRATION OF THE AUTUMN & HALLOWEEN SEASON"
by: Artisans of the Arc. Archive Gift Shop Hackensack, NJ. On display will be decorations and other items to enhance the Holiday season.

CITIZENSHIP CLASSES: Weekly classes on Mondays 10:00AM-11:00AM. If interested, please see Isaac Annan at the Reference Desk or call him at 201-343-4169 ext. 21.

INTERNET CLASSES: As scheduled, please go to the Reference Desk for details.

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A JOB? Individual assistance is available for those interested in seeking employment. We can show you how to find materials on interviews and cover letters, find a job in your particular field and use sources to find information about companies. For further information, call Jeannine Feinstein at 201-343-4781.

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE: Weekly classes are on Wednesdays 9:30AM-10:30AM. There is also a class on Monday nights for Beginners only from 7:00PM-8:00PM. For more information, call Tina Garcia at 201-343-4169 ext.22.

JUNIOR DEPARTMENT

PRESCHOOL STORY HOUR: Wednesdays 10:00AM & 1:30PM Thursdays 10:00 AM Saturdays 10:00 AM. This is a program for children 3 and up including stories, crafts, songs and videos. Registration is required.

MOTHER GOOSE TIME: Wednesdays 11:15AM, Thursdays 11:15AM, Saturdays 11:15AM. Children under 3 and their caregivers are invited to a program including songs, finger plays and a story. Registration is required.

STORIES AROUND THE WORLD: 3:30PM Tuesday, October 11th & Tuesday, October 25th For children in grades K-3. This is a program of folk stories from all over the world. Registration is required.

BOOK BINGO 3:30PM: Friday, October 21st. Join us for a rousing game of Bingo based on books and book characters.

ARTS & CRAFTS: 3:30PM. Thursday, October 6th: Frightening Foam Friends. Ages 7 & up. Wednesday, October 19th: Halloween Faces. Ages 6 & up Prior registration is required.

SLEEPY TIME TALES: 7:00PM. Monday, October 17th: Tales for the Teddy Bear set. Come in your pajamas and bring your favorite stuffed animals for bedtime stories. Registration is required.

October 8th: Witches in Stitches, Halloween Haunts, Follow That Goblin, 80 Minutes

October 22nd: Worst Witch, Garfield's Halloween, 90 Minutes
October 29th: It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, Halloween Tree, 95 Minutes

HAUNTED LIBRARY

      Friday, October 28th Tours Beginning at 7:00PM Ever wonder what happens when the lights go out and everyone leaves the library? If you're a'itchin for a scare, come visit the Haunted Library for frights a'plenty, ghosts and goblins all around. This is for children ages 6-10. If your child scares easily, this is not the program for him/her. Prior registration is required and begins October 1st.
