Q: How can I purchase tickets with cash?

A: Tickets can be purchased from the Hackensack Recreation Center located at 116 Holt Street. Call them at 201-646-8042.

Q: How can I purchase tickets with a major credit card?

A: Visa, American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and PayPal payments can be made at www.hackensacktheatrecompany.com . There is no additional service charge for online ticket orders and your tickets can even be shipped to you for free.

Q: Is “Dreamgirls” suitable for children?

A: Parental guidance is suggested for “Dreamgirls.” The show includes four or five inappropriate words. The plot does include talked-about premarital sex, talked-about drug use, and talked-about adultery. Visually, there is nothing graphic about the show.

Q: How much are tickets?

A: Tickets for “Dreamgirls” are $16. Discounted tickets may be purchased at the Hackensack Recreation Center and online for $12.

Q: Is there a group discount available?

A: Parties of over 15 must purchase their tickets at least 24 hours before the performance they plan to attend. The group rate is $10 a ticket.

Q: When are the performance dates?

A: “Dreamgirls” will run from Friday, September 15 until Saturday, September 30. Performances will be on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00PM. There will be additional matinees on Saturday and Sundays at 2:00PM. Please note that the doors will open a half hour before each event and the performances will start on time.
